Application Requirements
Application Process: Submit a SLIS application http://www.ci.unt.edu/main/pdf/FormFillin-LISApplication.pdf Reference letters, entrance exam scores, and a statement of purpose are not needed if the student is just seeking the Graduate Academic Certificate. If they later decide to get an MLS, the four GAC courses count toward that degree, if they have been taken within six years before the student’s UNT/MLS commencement. What are the minimum admission requirements? Bachelor’s degree. What is the deadline for admission? SLIS 5300 fills fast, so it is good to apply at least six months before the semester starts.
